Bioactivity

名称L-Allylglycine
描述L-Allylglycine is a potent inhibitor of the synthetic enzyme for GABA, glutamic acid decarboxylase.
体外活性L-allylglycine 在高浓度时(1-80 mM）才能抑制谷氨酸脱羧酶(GAD）。其在体内显示出更强的活性,这可以归因于L-allylglycine 转化为更为强效的惊厥剂及GAD抑制剂2-keto-4-pentanoic acid[1]。
体内活性立体异构体allylglycine被注射到后下丘脑的一个位置,该位置也对bicuculline显示出反应性。注射L-allylglycine(而非D-allylglycine）显著增加了心率,但对血压的增加较轻微[1]。
